A long check-in line
Checking in

These are photos from our Youth Orientations which were held in April and May of this year.

This first group of pictures shows the first thing you will need to do when you arrive at an orientation, which is go to the check-in table. As you can see, the line can get pretty long. At the check-in table we make sure that the information we have about you is correct (your address, birthdate, and other information). We also make sure you have your completed paperwork with you and give you a little more paperwork to fill out.

Reviewing application information
Choosing a site
The next step at the orientation will be choosing your site. Here you will talk to one of our staff or helpers to decide which volunteer site is best for you.
Going over the site list
Making a good site match
While you are at the orientation, you can also expect to spend some time just sitting and waiting. You can use the time to finish filling out any paperwork you still have to do.

Just a little longer to wait
Carol
Finally, Carol talks to the group about their upcoming experience as volunteers for The Incredible Exchange. During the talk she goes over some of the rules of the program, and helps the group complete any other forms they need to fill out. The orientation talk may be given to a very large group, or to just a few people at a time. It all depends on the circumstances.
